The osmotic power plant at Tofte, autumn 2008
Upping the pace of construction. The floor has been cast in concrete and the building is now ready for installation of the osmotic power plant parts. Project Manager Stein Erik Skilhagen from Statkraft explains how the plant will look when completed. (17th November 2008)

Lifting in equipment for preliminary treatment of water
The purification plant for the raw water was lifted in on 10 December. It is essential to maintain full control of the water used in the osmotic power plant, in particular the fresh water. It was a challenging process to lift the heavy equipment up to the first floor, but the lifting operation was handled very successfully. (10th December 2008)

Waterpipe installation
Water is the prerequisite for a salt water-plant.
Many hundreds of meters of pipes are needed to channel both salt water and freshwater into the power plant. (10th February 2009)

Fitting pipes inside the power plant
Pipe installation on the outside is now complete, but now the pipe work on the inside of the powerstation has just begun. (4th March 2009)
